I have heard of PEBBLES robot system before, but had not seen it for myself until now, and I will say I’m very impressed with the system. It is very user friendly and appealing to children in design and appearance. Students of any age can use the controls as they are the similar to standard gaming devices; which many students have used. The idea of keeping students with special needs in the classroom is vital. When they have treatments or are too ill to come into school, this is a great solution and will allow them to stay connected with their school and peers, and not keep falling behind. This type of product will also help students and educators keep up with special needs students IEPs. All the time that is typically loss to health and medical reason which detracts from their adequate yearly progress will not be as effected.
